The crest was designed by pupils to signify and convey the sporting, academic and Biddenham team spirit of the house. The house colour is purple.
About the athlete: Paula Radcliffe, Long-distance Runner
Paula Radcliffe was born in Cheshire in 1973 and was brought up in Bedford. She runs for Bedford and County AC. She holds the world record for the womens' marathon along with a number of world records in other road races. She was awarded an MBE and Sports personality of the year in 2002. She also works as a motivational speaker.
