Ready2Lead Conference
Dear Parent/Carer
I am pleased to inform you that your child has been selected to attend the Ready2Lead conference sponsored by the Harpur Trust.
The Ready2Lead conference will provide year 12 students with an opportunity to meet inspirational speakers, present themselves and their ideas, build their network, practice public speaking, meet like-minded students, plan a project to meet UN sustainable development goas and enter the future foundation global goals competition.
Students will be attending three sessions:
Session 1: Wednesday 2nd October, Ready 2 b extraordinary: This session will be held at Bedford school from 1.00pm-4.00pm. Transport will be provided from Biddenham to Bedford school and students will need to be collected or make their own way home from Bedford school at 4.00pm.
Session 2: Wednesday 6th November, Ready 2 change the world: This session will be held at Bedford school from 3.00-6.30pm. Students will need to arrange their own transport to and from Bedford school.
Session 3: Tuesday 10th December, Ready 2 celebrate: This session will be held at Bedford school from 5.00pm-8.00pm. . Students will need to arrange their own transport to and from Bedford school.
Students are to be dressed in semi-formal attire.
