UK University and Apprenticeship Search Fair – Leicester
We have been offered the opportunity to take our students to the UK University and Apprenticeship Search Event at the King Power Stadium, Leicester, on Tuesday 8th October.
This event will allow students to engage with a wide range of universities, higher education institutions and apprenticeship providers from across the UK. The aim of the visit is to provide our sixth form students with the information and guidance needed to assist them in making decisions about their post 17 and 18 education and career choices.
This is an informative day which will allow students to take part in interactive demonstrations as well as attending workshops and seminars delivered by industry experts.
This fair will feature:
10:40am – UCAS personal statement seminar
11.10am – Apprenticeship seminar
11.40am – University life and courses
12.10pm – Russel Group University seminar
13.10pm – Higher and Degree level apprenticeship seminar
13.40pm – UCAS personal statement and application seminar
We will be travelling to the venue by coach, departing Biddenham at 8.00am. We aim to return to school by 14.30pm (traffic dependent). Students should bring a packed lunch or money to purchase food from the venue.
The cost of this trip is £15.00. To confirm your child’s place on this trip, please provide payment and parental consent via your ParentPay account. Students will also need to be individually registered to receive their ticket and in order to access the seminars and workshops available.
