Visual Arts Trip, London
We have organised a study visit to London on Wednesday 16th October 2024 for A-level Visual Arts Students. Art and Photography students will be visiting the Victoria & Albert Museum and Graphics and students will visit the Design Museum and Camden Town in the afternoon.
This activity is an extension to the work students will be doing in school. We will begin the visit focused on practical activities together but students will then be able to choose parts of the gallery that are particularly relevant to their studies in groups of no less than two. We ask that students remain in the museums for the duration of our visit until our arranged meeting time to return.
We will travel to London by train and underground. On the day of the visit, we will meet at Bedford train station at 8.45am to catch the first off peak train. We will return to Bedford at approximately 5.30pm. Students will need to make their own way home from the station.
Students are required to bring drawing materials/camera/gallery books as well as a packed lunch. Comfortable shoes are strongly recommended as there will be a lot of walking.
The cost of this trip is £28.00. This includes rail travel and entrance to the galleries. To confirm your child’s place on this trip, please provide payment and parental consent via your ParentPay account.
