The GCSE course is designed to focus on the basics of Media Studies.
Whilst exploring ideas behind audience, institution and representation, students will also look at the basics of textual analysis (sound, cinematography, editing and mis-en-scene).
The examination board for this course is AQA and assessment is through two examinations and a creative production task.
