Biddenham is an 11-19, oversubscribed school that, as we expand, is entering the next phase of its development. Due to our popularity, and as part of our £4.5 million building programme, we need to grow and strengthen our already high performing staff team who, by 2025, will be working with 1600 students.
We are looking to appoint an inspiring and committed Teacher of Religious Studies.
Religious Studies is a core subject at Biddenham as we believe it is important in a diverse multi-religious and multi-secular society to understand and respect one another and our differences. Every student has one lesson per week in KS3 and two lessons per week in KS4, leading to GCSE Religious Studies in Year 11. We also offer A Level Religious Studies and the Head of Department is supported by an Assistant who leads on Key Stages 3 and 5.
