Updated information for London trip – 7th December

Dear Parents/Carers
Trip to London Stock Exchange and Stamford Bridge – Tuesday 7th December 2021
Unfortunately London Stock Exchange have had to cancel the tour and talk we were scheduled for due to the new COVID variant. We are still going to go ahead with the trip and organise a walk around the City of London where we can stop at the varying financial institutions around and discuss them before making our way to Chelsea in the afternoon.
The itinerary will have a couple of changes (see in bold) as a result of this
- Meet at Bedford station at 40am
- Train to City Thameslink, London at 9am
- Approximately 10am arrive in London and begin walking to Bank of England
- Approximately 10.15am – 12 noon Walk around City of London visiting different financial institutions
- 12-1pm Lunch near St Paul’s Cathedral
- Approximately 1pm, Tube from Mansion House to Fulham Broadway
- Stamford Bridge Talk & Tour 2.30pm (90 Minutes)
- Fulham Broadway Tube back to Mansion House pm
- Return Journey to Bedford at approximately 5pm arriving into Bedford at 6pm
