GCSE Textile students – Sketchbooks

Dear Parent/Carer

In order to make Textiles cost effective for parents /carers we have a system in place to  ensure every child has the opportunity to access most key resources in school, but we do ask that GCSE students pay for their own GCSE sketchbooks for coursework and exam projects.

For year 10 students the requirement is two A3 sketchbooks for coursework.

For year 11 students the requirement is one A3 sketchbook for the GCSE exam project.

The first year 10 sketchbook should have been paid for in September.

The next year 10 sketchbook is required for the start of the main GCSE Textiles coursework project straight after February half term. Please can you pay for the book by the end of the half term week using your ParentPay account on the school shop. It is listed as A3 Year 10/11 Sketchbook and costs £3.40. We buy these in bulk so the price is heavily discounted. The normal retail price would be £10. The books will be given out in the first lesson. Each student should bring proof of payment such as a screenshot of the receipt.
