Dear Parents/Carers
FIELD TRIP TO CADBURY WORLD, BIRMINGHAM – Friday 17th June 2022
The Business and Geography department would like to thank you for your support for the above trip. This trip is a fantastic opportunity to bring learning alive and hopefully improve your child’s chances of gaining their predicted grade.
To allow this to happen we require a contribution of £25 to cover the costs of transportation, entry into Cadburys world and an educational talk, insurance and all relevant administration costs. This visit will be an informative and hopefully enjoyable day. The trip will be taking place on Friday 17th June 2022. This trip is optional and on a first come first served basis. If you would like to secure your place you need to pay the full amount via ParentPay. If you have any questions about the trip for financial support please do not hesitate to contact either department.
The structure of the day is outlined in the itinerary below:
7.45am – Meet in the quad for a prompt departure. Failure to arrive on time could result in your child not attending the trip.
9.30am – Arrive at Cadbury’s World
10am – Talk
11am – 12.30pm – Tour
12.30pm – Lunch. Students will all have lunch together at the agreed meeting point
1pm – 4D cinema
1.30pm – Depart. Arrive back at Biddenham school at around 3.45pm – 4.30pm (traffic permitting)
Students are required to bring a pack lunch and snacks for the day or money to buy something. They can bring spending money if they want (although this is not a requirement). They will also need their pencil case, water and a small rucksack to carry all they need.
IMPORTANT: Please pay the £25 on your ParentPay account no later than Friday 3rd June 2022.
