Year 11 GCSE Cambridge Art Trip – Thursday 26th January 2023
We are organising a study visit to the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge on Thursday 26th January 2023 for our Year 11 GCSE Art students. We shall be travelling to Cambridge by coach.
On the day of the trip we will meet in the main car park at school at 9am to board the coach. Students need to bring drawing materials and cameras, as well as a packed lunch. Comfortable shoes are strongly recommended as there will be quite a lot of walking and standing in the museum.
This activity is an extension to the exam work the students will be doing in school, and to further assist with their exam project. We will begin the visit focused on practical activities together but students will then be able to choose parts of the museum that would be particularly relevant to their studies in groups of no less than two. We ask that students remain in the museum throughout the duration of our visit until our arranged meeting time to return home.
We will return to Bedford at approximately 4pm and students will make their own way home from the school.
The cost for this trip including the coach will be £10.00. Payments and Parental Consent are to be made using the ParentPay system. The charge will be put on your ParentPay account and must be paid by Monday 23rd January latest.
