Visit to the University of Bedfordshire Campus – Tuesday 7th March 2023
On Tuesday 7th March we have an exciting opportunity to take year 7 students in Forms 7MDE and 7EVR to the University of Bedfordshire, Polhill Campus to take part in an exciting day run in association with Dell called ‘Powering Transformation’.
They have invited our students to the University campus for the day to gain an insight into higher education and the world of work, whilst taking part in a problem-solving challenge which focuses on solving social and environmental issues using technology. Students will have the chance to engage with Dell mentors and university students who support the workshop. They have the chance to ask questions to all involved in higher education and the technical sector.
We will be leaving school at 8.30am and travelling by coach and will be returning to Biddenham by 3.30pm. Students should meet in the year 7 breakout space at 8.30am on Tuesday 7th March.
There is no cost attached to the trip however students will need to bring a packed lunch and a drink for the day. If they are entitled to free school meals, this will be provided for them.
Please give Parental Consent for your child to go on this trip by Monday 6th March latest through your ParentPay account. Unfortunately if they do not have consent they will be unable to go on the trip.
