Dear Parents/Carers
I am writing to you to inform you that your child still has outstanding incomplete mock exam work in GCSE History that we need them to complete after school. It is important that your child sit any incomplete mock exams in GCSE History as in the event of their being unable to do the real exams in the summer the data that the school holds from previous assessments may be taken into consideration; furthermore, the data is also helpful in identifying areas where we need to provide more support for your child.
The exam will take a minimum of 1 hour and fifteen minutes and a maximum of 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete depending on which exam they have to do. It is possible that they need to complete both, in which case they are expected to attend after school sessions this Thursday and next Thursday to complete the work.
I hope you will support us by speaking to your child about the importance of their being in to get this work done.
The sessions will run from 2:45 pm onwards on Thursday 2 March and Thursday 9 March in R15.
