HealthTec Aylesbury Trip 19th October

September 2023

Dear Parent/Carer

Trip to Health Tec, Aylesbury

The Health & Social Care department would like to inform you about a trip allowing students to gain an insight into Healthcare roles. This trip is a fantastic opportunity to bring learning alive, explore job roles and experience ‘real life’ medical simulations. In addition to this, it will help your child with their studies for their Anatomy and Physiology A-level exams.

This visit will be an informative and hopefully an enjoyable day! The visit will be taking place on Thursday 19th October 2023.

The trip is completely free of charge, however, please do bear in mind that there are limited spaces and these will be allocated on a first come first served basis. We will be travelling there and back by school minibus. The structure of the day is outlined in the itinerary table below:

8.30 am Meet in the quad for a prompt departure. Failure to arrive on time could result in your child not attending the trip.

9.30am Arrive at HealthTec in Aylesbury

11.30am 30 minute lunch break

2.00pm Depart from Aylesbury

3.00pm Arrive back at Biddenham School (traffic permitting)

Students are required to bring a drink, packed lunch and snacks for the day or money to allow them to purchase food from the canteen. They will need comfortable and practical clothing. Please provide parental consent via ParentPay. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely
