Ada Lovelace Visit to National Computing Museum 9th October

September 2023

Dear Parent/Carer

Ada Lovelace visit to National Computing Museum

We have been invited to attend a Digital Futures Ada Lovelace Day at the National Museum of
Computing in Bletchley on 9th October 2023.

As a Museum, they strive to champion, support and enthuse young women in their pursuit of and
engagement with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects.

The Ada Lovelace Day is an opportunity for students to experience interactive, innovative and
careers-focused hands-on activities and hear from leading inspirational women in the industry.
The young students attending will be supported in realising their full potential and encouraged to
consider careers in Computing.

Students will need to meet at school at 9AM and we will take the minibus to Bletchley Park. We will
then return to school via minibus at 4PM where students will either need to be collected or arrange
transport home.

There is no cost to this trip however students will need to bring a packed lunch. If they are entitled to
free school meals, this will be arranged for them.

Please give parental consent on your ParentPay account for your child to attend by Friday 29th
September. Spaces are limited to 14 and allocated on a first come first served basis.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Yours sincerely
