Dear Parent/Carer
Bedford Blues v Ealing Trailfinders – Training, Guard of Honor and Matchday Ticket
Your child has expressed an interest, having taken part in rugby in PE lessons or at afterschool club, in attending Bedford Blues v Ealing Trailfinders on Saturday 21st October. This is a fantastic opportunity to watch a local rugby game and experience the buzz of Goldington Road.
In addition to watching the game, we have been given the opportunity to take part in a coaching session prior, which is run by Bedford Blues coaches. We also get to be the guard of honour as the players enter the pitch and a ticket to sit in the stands to watch the game. All of this is provided by the Bedford Blues Foundation.
On the day students will be required to be in full school PE kit for the coaching session (boots or trainers required) and the guard of honour. They will also need to bring warm clothes. After the coaching session there will be a space to get changed should the weather require it. Students are to bring a packed lunch and a water bottle or money to purchase lunch. Students are required to make their own way to and from the venue.
Below is the itinerary for the day:
12.30pm – Meet Mr Evans at the entrance of Bedford Blues on Goldington Road (MK40 3NF)
12.45pm – Community Rugby Session
14.20pm – Meet at the club shop to prepare for Guard of Honour.
14.55pm – Guard of Honour
15.00pm – Bedford Blues V Ealing Trailfinders Match
17.00pm – Students to make their own way home
Please provide parental consent via your ParentPay account by Thursday 19th October.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours sincerely
