Blood Brothers
The component 1 GCSE Drama written exam requires students to answer questions on a set text. This year, we have selected Blood Brothers and fortunately, there is currently a production on tour.
Written by Willy Russell, the legendary Blood Brothers tells the captivating and moving tale of twins who, separated at birth, grow up on opposite sides of the tracks, only to meet again with fateful consequences.
We are pleased that we have been able to book tickets to see the production as it is a popular show with students and it will deepen their knowledge and understanding of the play.
We will be travelling to Woking by school minibus. Students are required to bring a packed lunch. Any student in receipt of free school meals will be able to collect a packed lunch before we depart. Please see the trip details below.
Date: Thursday 18th January 2024
Venue: New Victoria Theatre, Woking
Time of departure: 12:00pm (meet in Drama studio)
Time of return: 7.00pm (traffic dependent)
