Performance with the Bedford Choral Society and Bedford Symphony Orchestra
Your child has been selected to participate in a choral performance at Bedford Corn Exchange on Saturday 22nd June. The performance is with the Bedford Choral Society and Bedford Symphony Orchestra. Our students will be singing ‘Carmina Burana’ by Carl Orff. There is no cost for students to attend this experience.
Students will be required to attend rehearsals on Wednesday 12th and 19th June after school in A4. The rehearsal will finish at 4.00pm.
On Saturday 22nd June, students will arrive at Bedford Corn Exchange, 13 St Paul’s Square, Bedford MK40 1SL at 2.00pm for a rehearsal before the afternoon concert. Students will wear full school uniform including:
- Polished, black school shoes (not trainers, boots or sandals)
- School trousers or skirt
- White school shirt
- School tie
- School Blazer
- Long hair – tied up
- Stud earrings (not hoops)
- No school jumper (the venue can get very hot).
Students will be required to bring a packed lunch, snacks and a water bottle.
The concert will start at 7.30pm and finish at 9.30pm. Students will need to be collected from Bedford Corn Exchange, 13 St Paul’s Square, Bedford MK40 1SL at 9.30pm or permission will need to be granted for students to make their own way home. It is a public concert and tickets are available via tickets@bedfordchoralsociety.org.uk.
