The Scholars Programme Graduation Event at Nottingham University
As you will be aware, your child is part of the Brilliant Club and has been taking part in The Scholars Programme. This is a university style course that has offered students the chance to develop some of the skills required to write academically at a high level. Students have recently completed a challenging final assessment on Shakespeare and following this have been invited to attend The Scholars Programme Graduation at Nottingham University on Thursday 4th July 2024.
The event is designed to celebrate their achievements and successful completion of the Shakespeare project and to reflect upon their options for university after school. Students will have the chance to experience a Russell Group University graduation ceremony in action as well as having a tour of the university.
We will travel to the university by school minibus, departing Biddenham at 7.45am and returning by 5.00pm (traffic dependent).
Students are to be in full school uniform and will be required to bring a packed lunch and water bottle. Those in receipt of free school meals will be able to collect a packed lunch from the canteen prior to departure.
