Year 7 Parent / Carer Engagement Event letter

Dear Parents/Carers, 

Year 7 Parent/Carer Engagement Event – Tuesday 14th November 2023 4:00pm – 6:30pm

Location E block 

I am writing to inform you that we have our Parent/Carer Engagement Event on Tuesday 14th November 2023 4:00pm – 6:30pm.  

The primary purpose of this Parent/Carer Engagement Event will be to help form tutors develop a  closer working relationship with parents/carers and strengthen the partnership between home and school.  Tutors will work with parents/carers and students to identify what needs to happen to make good progress during this academic year. 

The event will include the opportunity to talk through your child’s report and set targets for the coming year.  We will have representatives from our PSHE team available to answer any questions you may have about the programme we deliver in school, alongside some well being activities you can enjoy with your child. 

We will also have a range of stalls in our break out space, for both parents/carers and students.  We would like to encourage students to come and speak to the various stall holders.  This supports students to build confidence to find out about the wide range of services we have available in school.

We use an online booking system for making appointments. Add this link to  your browser https://biddenham.parentseveningsystem.co.uk and you will be taken directly to the  login page.  Then enter your details and your child’s details as required on the login screen.  You will  need to use the first name and surname in full as it is recorded on our school system and your child’s date of birth.  Bookings are now open and will close at midnight on Monday 13th November.  The link can also be accessed via email and the school website.  However, should there be any problems with this please email Julie.giles@biddenham.beds.sch.uk
