Visit to the University of Bedfordshire Campus – Tuesday 27th June 2023
We are delighted to inform you that your child has been invited to a workshop at the University of Bedfordshire, Polhill Campus, to take part in an exciting day run in association with Dell called ‘Powering Transformation’.
They have invited our students to the University campus for the day to gain an insight into higher education and the world of work, whilst taking part in a problem-solving challenge which focuses on solving social and environmental issues using technology. Students will have the chance to engage with Dell mentors and university students who support the workshop. They have the chance to ask questions to all involved in higher education and the technical sector.
Students should meet in room E6 in Eblock at 8.30am on Tuesday 27th June 2023 – Please note the earlier than usual Tuesday start time for the trip.
We will be leaving school at 8.30am and travelling by coach and will be returning to Biddenham by 2.45pm.
There is no cost attached to the trip however students will need to bring a packed lunch and a drink for the day. If they are entitled to free school meals, this will be provided for them.
Please give Parental Consent for your child to go on this trip by Wednesday 10th May 2023 latest, either through your ParentPay account or by returning the reply slip to main reception or to Ms Larsson in the E block upstairs office. Unfortunately if they do not have consent they will be unable to go on the trip.
