Brilliant Tutoring Programme Letter

Welcome to the Brilliant Tutoring Programme

Dear Parent/Carer,

I am pleased to let you know that your child has been selected to take part in the Brilliant  Tutoring Programme, run by The Brilliant Club, an approved National Tutoring Provider.

The Programme aims to re-engage and rebuild pupils’ confidence in core subjects (English,  Maths, Science) by working with subject expert university researchers (PhDs).

Your child will receive 15 hours of free, curriculum-focused tuition in a small group with three other pupils. Tutorials usually take place online using Microsoft Teams.

Safeguarding

All Brilliant Club tutors are vetted and complete safeguarding training, and all tutorials will  be recorded. If your child is accessing their online tutorials from school, a teacher or  member of school staff will be present in the room.

If your child joins their tutorials from home, you or an appropriate adult must be present for  the duration of the session. You do not need to sit with your child or help them with their  work, but just be in the room and available to help with any technology issues that may  arise.

Your child’s school will let you know the tutorial schedule soon. In the meantime, if your  query is about the programme, contact The Brilliant Club on

btpschools@thebrilliantclub.org.

Best wishes,

The Brilliant Tutoring Team
