Equaliteach letter March 2023

Dear Parents / Carers,
Your child has been working on a project in school in association with an agency called Equaliteach. They have now been trained as ‘Agents for Change’.
The Agents for Change programmes educate young people about the harms of identity- based bullying and provide young people with the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge, and confidence to empower them to be active citizens and implement anti-bullying initiatives in their school.
A selected group of ambassadors from across the school have had the opportunity to share their own experiences and develop their understanding, skills and confidence in promoting equality and tackling prejudice. They have been learning about successful initiatives implemented by other pupils, considering the specific issues in their school and have been supported in developing their own action plans to continue working on beyond the Agents for Change event with EqualiTeach.
To round off this work and fully implement their plans, we are requesting that your child attends school early on the below date.
