Key Stage 4 and 5 Opportunities

Year Business Talk
To help support the component one coursework, students have the opportunity to interview and listen to a minimum of two local businesses to learn about what skills, qualities and experience is needed to set up and run a successful business.

Other opportunities
Across Key Stage 4 and 5 students will take part in business visits, including companies such as John Lewis, Sainsbury’s and Highways England.

Previous visits to Alton Towers and Thorpe Park for Business Studies talks have also taken place.

Coursework and exam support:
Staff in the department offer a minimum of two lunchtimes a week to support students with the completion of coursework and revision for exams.
