Biddenham School has an admission criteria which you can read here.
Year 7 Admissions
If your child is attending a local authority primary school you will receive an information sheet from your child’s current school during the autumn term of year 6. This will give details of the process of applying for a place. Full details can be found on the Bedford Borough website at Transfer to secondary school.
Sixth Form Admissions
If your child is already a student at Biddenham and is in Year 11, they will receive an Internal Application Google Form (which includes a requirements and courses information sheet) to complete. This is sent to their school email address. They will need to complete and submit their application by the deadline set on the form.
Application form, information on courses and requirements for external applicants can be found on our school website under the Sixth Form section. Applications must be completed and submitted by the deadline set.
Please email your completed application to email@example.com or send by post to the school for the attention on Mrs Skrzypacz, Sixth Form Office.
16-19 Bursary Fund
The application form and contract for 16-19 Bursary fund can be collected from the school’s Reception or can be requested by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Forms should be completed to the best of your knowledge and must include your supporting documents as requested on the form (where applicable). You will need to bring your completed form to the Finance Office with your original bank statement or bank card.
Please note that students need to provide their bank account details and bank cards must be in their name. If students do not have a bank account, they will need to open one and ask the bank for a letter with the details which should be shown to the Finance Office. For external applicants, this step can be done once you start sixth form at Biddenham.
If you move into the area during the school year or you wish to change your child’s school, you will need to complete an in-year application form. Full details can be found on the Bedford Borough website at In-year admissions.
Once the school has received and reviewed the application (and it is successful), we will send out an Admissions Information pack for completion. When we have received this, we will contact the parent or carer by either letter or email to arrange an admission interview. A start date will be given at this point.
