‘Developing the whole child’
At Biddenham we continually prioritise developing the whole child, and with this in mind, in addition to the core curriculum, we provide a wide range of additional and new opportunities for students. Below is an example of what is available as part of the wider curriculum.
To promote the development of confidence and for key stage 4 readiness, we have additional subjects that are explored at key stage 3, to help every student build confidence and find their element. These subjects are also supported by the core curriculum and are delivered during normal school hours, something that may not be experienced as an explicit lesson in any of the other local schools.
