Music Extra-Curricular Activities

Here at Biddenham we have a varied and busy calendar of extra-curricular ensembles and events including:

Choir
Ukulele Club
Trombone Club
Percussion Club
Rock Band
Annual School Musical

Members of the Music department regularly perform at large events such as Band Bananzas, Fiddle Fiestas, Battle of the Bands and choral events.

This is alongside workshops in school with professional musicians, such as The Brook Street Band, Woodwork Recorder Consort, Olivier award winning percussionist Craig Apps and WaterBear Music College.

Beginners Double Bass Club

We aim to build positive relationships with our local community and feeder schools. Here is one example of a primary transition concert held at Biddenham. This concert included Biddenham students, undergraduate students from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and teachers and students from Bedford Music Cooperative.
