WorkSkills, Enterprise and Employability Extra-Curricular Activities

WorkSkills is about being a part of a team and we feel the best way to do this is to get out of the classroom. We arrange many educational visits, linked around team building, time management and organisation.

We have access to a wide variety of resources and these are normally linked with an educational visit to the organisation that we are studying.

We have strong links with the Bedford Foodbank and as a group we volunteer three weeks leading up to Christmas, helping put together the much needed food parcels. 

WorldSkills UK Live is the largest experiential skills, careers and apprenticeship event. It is held every year in Birmingham and attracts over 70,000 participants. It sees businesses, educators and young people come together to experience excellence at work. 

In the past we have visited Milton Keynes theatre, Milton Keynes bowling, Go Ape, the 4D cinema and Willen Lake, which involved a treasure hunt.
