Applying to Sixth Form

In the months leading up to the application deadline, students will need to make a thoughtful decision about the subjects they wish to study at key stage 5. These courses should be considered and aligned with any career aspirations that a student wishes to follow.
An important part of the application process is our sixth form open evening. This is a great opportunity to meet our excellent subject staff and learn more about the content of the courses, and what would be expected of prospective Level 3 students. Following on from the open evening, we invite parents, carers and students to come and visit us during the school day to have a tour of our wonderful facilities and to experience the day to day feel of sixth form life.
Any student wishing to apply to Biddenham will need to complete an application form. Current Biddenham students will receive an electronic application form via their school email, while  external students will need to complete the application form below, (you will also receive an application form during our open evening).
The application deadline is the end of January, after which we will contact all applicants to arrange an interview with one of our sixth form team. On completion of the interviews the students may be offered a place in our sixth form, and all offers are subject to GCSE grades.
The final stage of the application process are the transition days in July (after the GCSE exams). On the transition days, students will receive a timetable according to their subject choices and will experience our sixth form for the two days.

External Candidate Application

We encourage all students wishing to apply to our sixth form to attend our sixth form open evening, where they can talk to staff, collect  resources and information.
